the ease of observing
and doing a practice

rotating oneself
to see all
layers of existence

power of softness

one part as the whole
the whole as a particle

to be in the present moment
made me feel safe, curious and grounded

Open Practice Sessions is a format developed and lead by Isabelle Schad. It explores possible relationships between energetic principles, choreographic languages and its places/relevances in society. The movement practice, training and choreographic work are nourished by practices such as Aikido, Shiatsu as well as somatic practices (BMC, Embryologie), the overlaps between eastern and western perspectives. The practice aims for finding new approaches to physicality understood as a unit of body-mind-spirit, understanding continuous learning and knowledge transmission as one circulating entity.
OPS happen continuously at certain slots spread over the year in Berlin.
